Brass and Copper Egyptian Vase

    It is an inexpensive Egyptian brass vase made for tourists.
    It is probably 1950s-80s

    The blackish metal is silver btw

    The writing below the line is probably the number 45, but I don't know what this signifies. Could be a model number.

    Hey guys, I've found out that my Egyptian Urn is in fact quite unique and not a tourist piece afterall. I'm so delighted.

    Another useful search term is "Cairo ware" or "Cairoware". It refers to such mixed metal objects, made in Cairo (of course).
