Featured Brass brooch with faux cameos

It's certainly designed after mourning jewelry, but I'd think 30s Revival rather than Victorian. The cameos are pure glass, I'd think.

As evelyb notes, the cameos are most likely 2 pieces of fused glass, & probably Czech manufacture, which does not mean the whole brooch was made there, as the cameos were widely distributed as jewellery elements. Here are some salesman's samples, dated 1928:



As hinges & clasps go, these are quite modern. I think brooch is from middle third of the 20th century.

To me the metalwork looks earlier rather than later; that particular rollover clasp looks like something out of the late 40s to early 50s if not pre-War. It looks like they soldered three cameo settings together.
