Featured Brooch ID Needed "L" Marking?

    Got this nifty brooch that looks like an "L" marking on back. Whatcha think?

    Vitry, this is beautiful - it looks like emeralds to me! ;) Please let me know if it's stones or glass!

    I think Bear is correct and this is an old Cardin mark.
    Could this be a second mark too?

    The Cardin mark is distinctly different. OP’s mark does appear slightly more like a ‘C’ than an ‘L’ but has no relation to Cardin other than it being square…. Just my opinion of course.

    Most of which incorporate both of his initials. I’ve been searching and see many variants, none of which resemble OP’s.
    Cardin did a lot of space-age designs early in his career, but his logo at the time was the example Deborah showed.
