Featured Butterflies & Chrysanthemums - origin, dating?

    These were among my Rising/Flying Turkey china but are not a match. You can almost read a newspaper through the porcelain. They were bought when I was a child in the 1940s for almost pennies. No marks at all :(. Questions:
    Are they Chinese rather tan Japanese?
    When do you think they were made?

    Japanese, Yokohama porcelain 20's or 30's no later
