Featured Cameo Help please :)

Bringing this down to make it easier to get eyes on it.



GERMANY would certainly fit with the legible letters. The cameo itself would not be from there but suppose it could have been set there. Germany produces cameos, but specializes in hardstone. I can't quite make the letter before E into a G. S, maybe?

 

Germany makes or made tons of costume cameos too. One design is called "German Headband Girl" for just that reason. She's never seen in shell or stone, always molded, and at least originally was made in Germany.

 

This comes from the file I keep under Cameos Artificial labeled W German. I started calling her Headband Girl for my own convenience. Is it actually widely used?

 

It's the one I learned, with German in front.

 

Interesting. Just tried out search terms on Google. 'German cameo' produces a ton of these cameos. When I tried 'German headband girl cameo' this, & others, turned up at the top of the results:


The cameos we mean were there too, sprinkled in farther down. Think 'girl' is the confounding factor.

 

That skunk headband is a little.... weird.

 

She was followed by women wearing headbands who looked quite normal, but this one was at the head of the line. Google tries to show you things your Internet history suggests might be of interest to you. What does that say about me?

I would if I could...and could get some that fit over the lymph edema wraps. (the less said the better - got it from the same source as the MS)
