Excellent question. Hard one to answer with slightly out of focus photos. As much as I hate to think someone defaced a nice piece of lapis with that face, does look as though it could be stone. Otherwise, glass. Wire wrapping mount not usually indicative of good quality overall.

Maybe @Hollyblue will have a thought on the stone, if/when she can get back on the site. I still can't connect using Firefox; using Edge at the moment.
