These pieces also were from the jewelry sales at the Discovery shop. Mostly costume jewelry this time, and I bought a few pieces that I found interesting. I have specific questions about each of these items. I would really appreciate any comments.

    1. Real Cameo? I don't know much about how cameos should look. Is this a real shell of something applied onto a shell?

    2. Smoky Quartz or Glass Intaglio?

    3. Jelly Opal and Amethyst? Sterling Ring from China with HT? Mark. I wasn't sure of the stones - maybe just glass.

    4. Necklace with knot and turquoise

Real shell and glass, as Bronwen stated. Such an attractive frame on the first!
The ring looks contemporary - I found an eBay item that attributes the HT mark to Harold Trujillo :

Any marks on the necklace? Possibly glass or plastic stones imo.

Chances are a lot of the search results would be links back to this forum. We have mentioned Headband Girl & Ponytail Girl many times, here & there. They are the 2 most reproduced cameo/intaglio images out there. Those are not official designations, or didn't start out being. I have a feeling I started 'Headband Girl'; not sure whether same is true for Ms. Ponytail or I picked it up somewhere. HBG turns up in W. German jewellery & I suspect she originated there, not sure. Clearly sold to makers all over & comes in all varieties: cameo/intaglio; right facing/left facing; all colors. Unlike Ponytail girl, she seems to come only in glass; I have never seen her in actual shell.

Necklace is sixties. I've a fair few in gold tone with those "turquoise" studs, it was a Thing.

I think those intaglio glass plaques were Czech, used all over.

Probably. Can you have it tested somewhere?
    Turquoise glass.
    Ditto.
Harold Trujillo doesn't sound very Chinese.:playful:

I searched and searched the necklace and nothing. I thought it would like nice when I wear a casual turtleneck sweater and jeans.
Thanks for the confirmation about the shell and glass. I was hoping it was quartz, but what is nice is the figure.

The only jeweler near me that wasn't high end went under during COVID. Everybody else has locked doors and guards. Not much for casual inspection unless you come with a boatload of cash.

I like the stylized curls on the cameo.

I loved those too. The pin in the back is long too, so I think that points to age.

The hinge, clasp, bail & lady's hairstyle all say late 40s - 50s.

Perfect. Thank you for this time frame. It will allow me to research it further.
