Can anyone assign a nationality to this box?

OK I'll bite as I didn't get it unless we're talking the secret gov. UFO stuff...

 

I am technically her second owner as she was a security vehicle at Area 51.

 

I use this if I happen to park her at a car show or at one of our car club's events.

THIS IS MY 1969 CHEVY C/10 STEPSIDE, BETSY. I’VE HAD HER SINCE 1975 WHEN I FOUND HER IN VEGAS WHILE HOME ON LEAVE FROM THE NAVY AND ON MY WAY TO MY NEXT DUTY STATION AT NAS FALLON, NEVADA.

I WAS DRIVING AROUND VEGAS AND STOPPED TO SAY HI! TO AN OLD FRIEND’S DAD WHO HAD A CAR LOT. SHE WAS JUST PLACED ON THE LOT AS HE HAD JUST PAINTED HER.

HE BOUGHT HER AT THE GOVERMENT AUCTION IN VEGAS…

SHE WAS A SECURITY TRUCK FROM…>>>AREA 51<<<!!!

THERE ARE STILL MEMENTOS FROM BACK THEN ON HER. YOU CAN SEE WHERE THEY RAN THE WIRING FOR A SPEAKER OR LIGHTS ON THE ROOF. (I PUT IN THE HATCH WHEN I FLEW & CREWED HOT AIR BALLOONS WITH HER)

I STILL HAVE THE ‘RADIO DELETE’ PLATE AND THERE ARE STILL HOLES IN THE DASH WHERE THE SPEAKER CLIP WAS MOUNTED AND WHATEVER ELSE WAS ON THERE.

SHE IS ‘TECHNICALLY’ A 1968 BECAUSE THE SIDE MARKER LIGHTS WERE NEVER WIRED AS PART OF THE HARNESS AS THE D.O.T. REQUIRED THEM TO BE IN ‘69.

I can see the little green men riding around in the back with the radio blasting. Unless it was used to smuggle them across the borders of Washington DC. I swear some of the legislation was written by people from outer space....
