Can anyone give me any information on this 19th century clock? (57cm tall/ 22.4 inches) (8.4kg)

    ? & F/Paris. What's the first letter? Possible the F is for Fils (Son) rather than another surname.

    That's quite a nice clock you have there. If you google "H&F Paris clock" you will discover lots of them. They seem to be from around 1860 to early1900s.

    seems to me bronzed brass, not ormolu.
