When it may have been made? I found it in a bag of old jewellery purchased in the Seattle Washington area. It has no maker's mark. Any information would be helpful thanks

It could be a slide for a sash. It is longer on one end, which is puzzling.

If used on a belt, it would be a slide to hold the end of the belt in place after it has been secured by a buckle.

Like the one on the right, the one on the left is a buckle.

I'd think a sash or belt slide.

Oh my gosh. That is so pretty. I would love to re-purpose a few of those for light curtain tie backs.
