celldoll2.jpg celldoll3.jpg celldoll1.jpg She is 6 inches tall, and made of celluloid (I think). She has sleep eyes, and is jointed at the shoulders, hips, and head. When you turn her head, her legs move. There are no markings anywhere. She stands on her own. Any thoughts? I don't know any terms to use to search for her.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I found this old etsy listing for similar dolls. They have been sold and I don't think there is a way to find out more.

    https://www.etsy.com/listing/484913760/celluloid-doll-toy-nodder-pick-1-or-both

    Here is the seller's description:
Celluloid Doll Toy Nodder "Pick 1 or Both" Mechanical Walking Girl

Fantastic Hong Kong Novelty Dolls! Pick 1 or Both!

A mechanism allows their heads nod and turn when you move their legs!

Vivid blue eyes that open and close!

Arms can be carefully repositioned to go behind their backs (photo #2).

The doll in yellow has "Made in Hong Kong" stamped on her back.

The doll in orange has "Empire Made" stamped on her back.

Each doll is approximately 5" tall

    Mint condition

    Most likely from the 60s

It's been around for a while! You can also see what "best offers" really went for.

Empire Made is usually Hong Kong for plastics.

In the Sindy/dollying world **Empire Made** means exactly what my Mrs. B said and it means 60s
