I found these at a local thrift store today! My first thought was 'gaudy' but different and I put them in my cart and after not finding much else I decided to buy them & check here if they were anything special?
They are just under 19" tall.
What would you call these/what style are they?
    What era? (1960's?)
Is the red parts really plastic like they feel?
Any help or thoughts on them would be appreciated - thank you!

Little Sticker On Base Above Left Says 'Fine Marble Base Made in Italy' - Lamps are made in Italy or just the base?

I think your first thought was the correct one.

Yes, plastic, 1970s Suburban Provincial. Probably attractive to millennials with that all-important sense of irony.

Style is best described as Early Bordello.

    In listing info?
What would you say; provincial accent?

I'd be tempted to use those descriptors in the listing... to appeal to...

...millenials with that all-important sense of irony!

You want to stand out, I love "Early Bordello" and "Neo Cathouse". If I was selling these lamps I'd put that right in the title. You could say that your friend calls these "Early Bordello" etc...

You might start a new word trend that catches on!
