    Maybe the fact that one has a deer and the other a fish is significant?
    Something to do with food? To hang on a dish: this one has venison stew, and that one fish stew? Not that you'd mistake one for the other, but it is a nice gesture.

    Could they hang on curtain rods between drapes to open the drapes? (The kind we usually pull on the drape to open because there isn't a traverse rod) OR. Might they be used to separate clothes that are hanging up? As in, they would separate Little Johnny's clothes from his brotherJoey's? The shape definitely looks like it would hang on some sort of rod.
