    Id guess you were right about the age,but thats a guess since your pics are way to small. Also pics of the drawer sides and underneath would help . Looks like a lovely French ladies writing desk .

    Nice. If it is a nice perfume, that is.
    Many of the items my grandmother left me still smell of Arabian jasmine.

    Looks like a mahogany woman's desk with Sevres plaques ca. 1890, probably from France. Could also be used as a vanity. Nice ormolu mounts. Beautiful! I've not seen the like here in my part of the U.S. Midwest.

    It may bring a pretty penny at auction, probably best sold in a large city.
