Can you tell me any about this floral copper (?) box, age and use?

    Hello everyone! I picked up this little box recently. I like the Art Nouveau look but unsure if it is of time frame or not. It looks like copper but also has a bronze look so not sure what metal it actually is? It is lined with older brown felt. Can you tell me anything about it's material, age and possible use? It measures 5.5"L x 3"W x 1.5"H. Thanks as always!

    This is copper repousse work and would think sometime the first half of the 20th century. Most likely done by a talented amateur.
