Hello everyone! I'm hoping you can help me with any information on the possible age and origin of this ring? I find it hard to tell whether rings are older or perhaps something a little more modern that is possibly Native American or artisan? No markings but tests as sterling. Any incite appreciated, thank you :)

Lovely, but it isn't Native American. Looks like Historic Revival.
I'll try, but I have to be in the right mood.

    Persian turquoise, I’d think.

Good morning :shame:. By Historical Revival, do you think a modern revival piece or slightly older looking back further to revive the early Victorian aesthetic for example? Always trying to learn :)

I think early 20th century, looking back to 1840s-60s. It has that 'Biedermeier' look (ca 1840-1860). But let's wait for the others.
    Of course.:)

Are there not at least partial marks visible top left 2nd photo?

Hi there! Nope, no markings (I just took another look with my loupe) just some tarnish and the silver work is a little scruffy at the top.

@Elen Beattie I can see why you aren’t sure! I’m getting better about dating stuff (to maybe vaguely the right century if I’m on form) but this ring is confusing, there are mixed messages from it! It’s lovely though :)
