https://susansilverantiques.com/product/pair-staffordshire-tabby-cats-circa/ https://charliebordewich.com/products/gorgeous-pair-rare-staffordshire-cats I've posted a couple of links to pairs of Staffordshire cats. I searched on Google images for ones with bases like yours. I *think* they are genuine. There are several points to bear in mind when looking at Staffordshire cats: 1)They are much rarer that Staffordshire dogs. 2)A pair is even rarer. 3)Staffordshire figures -- cats included -- have been reproduced for a very long time. Many reproductions are also antique. 4)Note the rather indistinct molding of your cats -- particularly the feet. 5)Note the base -- all the cracking in the glaze and the brown rim point to Chinese/Southeast Asian production. 6)Note the style of green and pink paint applied to your pair and that of the figures in the links. These points would make me pause if I was thinking of purchasing them as antiques. Exactly how old they are, I don't know, but guessing they would be 20th c. Hope this helps.
