I know this painting is old by the aged poster board or whatever it is called and it probably was cheap, but I do like it. The donkey's face has so much character, like "you want me to do what?" Please note there is a name on the back but I do not know, because it doesn't match the front, if one on the front is a title and one on the back is the artist, but they look to be different writers. So any information would be helpful. I would guess no older than 1921 but maybe older? C9ECFFAB-A451-4136-BA48-D99EFBD68F31.jpeg

On the back part of it says: Milwaukee, Wis(consin) (I can't read the first name) Clemons 1921- (being the birth year for Clemons)

Isn't the front writing a description in German? Something like "Wir wirst das _____?"

From the link for Eliese Clemens, she possibly moved to Milwaukee in 1920. Possibly a fun picture from a friend or relative.
