Caricature art or comic strip drawings?

I went to a huge sale today to help the Ukrainians. All items were donated to help them.
These two drawings are 11" x 14" and are signed by two different people, but the main character looks the same? The dates appear to be 1957 and 1960

The 4pointed logo on this shirt in the first pictures reminds me of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Googling "panther sweat" tells me it's also an alcoholic beverage. Who knew?

Could have several meanings I guess!

I wonder if it's just a nice personalized sketches done of someone's friend etc.

We have one that was done of my dad just for fun.

 

It's a slang term for high-proof hooch.

My guess is these were done by a newspaper editorial cartoonist. That would make sense of a guy sitting at a linotype and another with a printing press.

Exactly what it is. They were a "thing" in the 50s.

 

Hi! I'm curious about where you're located? I also have one of these from my grandmother's belongings and it looks like it is by the same artist (same signature and style, from 1962). It's of a different person called "Kramer." We're also looking for more info on who the artist might be/where they came from so I was surprised to see one that looked like it was by the same person! We're located in MN.

 

I am in Northern California. I haven't found any other information on my pieces.
