Spotted this little beauty in an auction lot of crested china we bought. Trouble is, we have got no idea of value although Carlton Ware World state that they have become highly sought after. Any ideas welcomed!

I have no idea of value, what I'd always do with this sort of thing was list it on ebay for auction and see what happened.

That was in the days when 'search' simply searched, and not nowadays when it also takes into account if you have your trouser leg rolled up and if it is the time of the gibbous moon.

I find it amusing that they are double dipping a bit there, if you are simply not interested in the Titanic, you might be swayed by the appeal of a tiny replica Roman urn.

    HOLY CATS!
Especially smoke coming out of all 4 stacks when only 3 functioned in that manner.

Savvy*Spyglass*Treasures Fancy Endeavours. That's my user ID on eBay now.

I found four different ones sold in PriceMiner. They ranged from $460.09 in Feb. 2014 to $277.06 in Nov. 2014. They were all about the same size but none are shaped the same.

A stunning original Titanic memorial pot made by Carlton Ware china and depicting the ill fated ship on one side and full details on the reverse. The base carries the old Carlton Ware stamp. The pot stands 5cm tall with an open diameter of 3.75cm. ...

Oh! didn't realize I could copy and paste here. They didn't used to let you do that.

When I was a little kid, they let me watch the old Titanic movie. It freaked me out so badly that even today I hate boats. We had to take an overnight ferry from Helsinki to Talinn once and I could not sleep. It was April and the front of the ferry had a metal plate because the Baltic is still covered with ice. All night long you could hear the ship crushing ice. The staterooms were located below decks and the vehicles below us. The top decks were devoted to slot machines and mini-casinos. A trip that should only take a few hours takes 8 hours because the Finns like to gamble and then buy cart loads of duty free booze in the shops. Anyway, I definitely don't collect Titanic memorabilia.
