I was wondering if y'all could help me pin down the age of this cool jewelry I bought today. Brooch is the only thing I've got pinned down-- it's made with 5 kopek coins from the 1820s. The black beads don't look like plastic, although I think the small spacer beads between each larger bead might be.

The gold and black necklace has metal overlay over the black beads, which feel slightly warmer compared to the surrounding metal.

Cuflinks are faux Damascene, aka Toledo Ware from Spain,1960s ish.

Last but two necklace looks 1990s - those flat things on clasps tend to mean lesser quality and later. The one above it, 1980s - that's the woven chain.

Glass beads - blue and white - old Czech, nice, restrung. Newer clasp. Tooth beads.

Black carved ones may well be jet. Find some unglazed white china and rub one gently. Black mark means jet.

First string looks 1940s/50s, Czech again.

Thank you. :) I didn't know that about the flat clasps things--good to know. How old do you think the blue and white Czech necklace is?

Brooch is late 19th, even though the coins are older.

The blue and white beads are 1920s or 30s. The clasp has come from a 1950s/60s West German or Japanese three strand bead necklace by the look of it.

    Nice bundle, that lot.

Thank you! Can you tell by the length of the pin?

Probably West German, since I'm in Germany.

Do you think I did well for 14 euros?

The black beads don't quite look like jet up close. After doing a web search, I think they might be cinnabar. If they are cinnabar, how old do you think they'd be?

I think you did very nicely! It's the pin length and the hinge that look late 19th to me.

Black cinnabar is a thought. Can you see layers? Tricky to put an age on them.
