I wanted to pass this by you folks before listing it since I wasn't able to find anything with this carver's signature showing. According to this site he is a "Six Nations artisan" & show a pipe he made, but show no signature.:rolleyes:

It is 5" tall to the tip of the ear & does have some little chips, but if positioned just so you can see none of them.:happy:

Also what if anything is the significance of the number on the bottom?:confused:

I forgot to ask before, would this also be considered a fetish?

I was going to list it last night with the other pieces I had asked about, but forgot about it & besides did not want to list it without some confirmation from those more knowledgable.:happy:

The custom specifics on eBay wants me to specify a tribal affiliation. Does anyone know what I should put there?

" Six Nations" is an Ontario Iroquois reserve.

Komo would know better than I would; I'm just hoping Ebay has that as a tribal affiliation and doesn't barf on it. (they're not too bright when it comes to Canadian affiliations.)

Took a look, and Canadian tribal affiliations are all lumped together under Canadian Aboriginal. Like I said, they ain't too bright.

They did have the Iroquois affiliation available under the Canadian Aboriginal option.
