Hi all! This "set" was part of an auction lot that I won recently. I am wondering if perhaps this is not a set at all, but a mixture of different bits and pieces? I think the 2 round pots, oval photo frame and mirror (all marked "French Ivory" on the back)match and look Art Deco (ish) but I'm not sure about the other pieces, can you help date them? The pearlised larger box with maple leaf (?) has a maker's mark that I don't recognise. Thanks in advance for any info!

Pretty, just my 2 cents but I think it is a mix and match lot.

Yes, I agree. Not a set as the pieces don't match.

The pearlized pieces (the darker shade) may be a set of their own, while the lighter shade pieces marked French Ivory (mirror and comb) go together. But I am skeptical of a connection to the hair receiver (the pot with a hole in the center) and the other with a lid.

My grandmother had an actual dresser set complete with nail care items, all marked French Ivory and monogrammed, dates too which coincided with her 18th birthday.

Thank you! I have seen the proper sets in their original box and they look amazing :). What is a hair receiver? Is it something to do with hair pins?!

It's for saving strands of hair that have separated from your scalp. I could use one myself. ;)
