Commercial product or a hobbyist piece?
    Thanks

Am ceramically-challenged, but I'd lean toward something done in a ceramics hobby shop that has a sizeable stock of molds for slip, maybe one on a military base. The glaze used doesn't really work for that piece, and the application of it was very sloppy.

Agreed, hobbyist. Molded piece with scratched in name is common for ceramic hobby shop items.
