Hi I went to an estate sale a while back and I have a few pieces that I am having trouble identifying and this little booger is one of them. I've found all types of ceramic rams but none that look like him. They only history I know is that the wife was Japanese and met her soldier husband during one of the wars and he brought her back here. The items in the house seemed to be from the 60's and before. Any help is very much appreciated. I am not even sure if the wood base has been married to him. TYIA

Shape is Italian, glaze is Belgian or West German. 1970s, I'd think.

Thank you that was who I trying to remember.
I see now it doesn't match her style.

Wondering if it is a 1970s Japanese imitation. Or as Owned said German.

I had a lamb fashioned much the same way. It had a label, but I think the label may have been a retailer's. Said Warsaw anyhow.
