Chanel Black Caviar Double Flap Purse has Chanel / Made in Italy (not France) real?

I ask because... I'm not familiar with Luciano Soprani. A designer who completely escaped my radar. Curious.

When I searched her on eBay after seeing the purse, all I saw was perfume, silk ties & men's suits!
Here is the purse (tag inside had a sticker/price on it & still has glue residue - I will clean it but didn't want to hurt/stain inside fabric)

The brand is known here, but it is pretty much a regular brand, not a sought after designer. Nice bag though.

 

I guess not!! It didn't even sell for the $30 opening bid (and I paid $100 for the both of them...sigh!)

About the Soprani bag, an Italian name doesn't mean it is special. Here in Europe we get a lot of fashion and leatherwares from Italy. They all come with nice Italian names, obviously, but most of them are regular items.
