Chinese Box

    Hello friends,
    I really like this box, a little fancy.
    Maybe the answer is the content of the box itself.
    A chinese sewing Box? Any idea of the writing?

    If you can provide a larger pic I may be able to help, it is way too small at present. Date wise these come from the 1960's

    Thanks I can see it now, but I can't make it out, the only character I think I have right is the 3rd one 芋 - the first one is particularly odd. I'm sure a native Chinese speaker would be able to get it, so OP perhaps try a translation community on facebook etc.
