Featured chinese boxwood? carvings

    Hi folks found these interesting looking carvings at a boot sale today for peanuts

    sort of carvings mixing into the original wood forms

    i've found finer before but haven't seen ones in this form

    boxwood ?

    each measure about 4 - 5 inches

    got a red stamp to the base

    not sure of age or who they are of

    any thoughts or info appreciated
