Featured Chinese carved nut shell, Or Resin?

    This was .49 cents at the thrift today.
    I don't see any bubbles but the carving seems elementary.
    I've never seen one in person so not sure.

    I think so too.:)
    A walnut is very hard and it has an irregular surface, making it diffcult too carve. The carving is rarely refined.
