Featured Chinese Fan Bone?

    I can imagine it working on ivory, although I would strongly advise against it. But bone is much more porous, and something as delicate as a fan needs to be handled with extreme care.
    To me the fan is in perfect condition, doesn't need any cleaning whatsoever. And as I said, you run the risk of staining the ribbon. Fans with clean ribbons are a collector's delight.

    Hi,
    It is NOT Brasso's fault but the &^%$#&^%$#!!!!! SOB deeps fault that we are so angered by the word Brasso.

    My mother used Brasso on everything and I can't begin to tell you how many things she ruined. Maybe applied in a few instances, but you have to be really cautious.
