Chinese or Japanese Contemporary Limited Edition Print

    93FA26E6-B830-41E7-952E-134D0F3EFD44.jpeg This lovely print is coming up for sale shortly.

    I am not sure if it is Chinese or Japanese .

    It is signed and sealed and dated 1996

    it is number 23/100

    There are similarities to Chinese artist Wu Guanzhong but it is not his work.

    It’s a long shot and photos are not great but any ideas?

    Hi John, this is Chinese - I don't recognise the artist, it may be a commercial / tourist product- the writing is Mandarin, from what can be read it says ' A little town near water ' the architecture is similar to that of Shanghai or Guanzhou during either the Ming or Qing dynasties - and it could be one of the smaller nearby villages. If I find out more I'll let you know.
