Chinese or Japanese Covered Cup

    Hoping someone can help with the mark and age of this porcelain covered bowl or cup. Bowl stands 2 1/8" tall and is about 4" across. the lid is 3 5/8" across. Design looks hand done.

    Design is stenciled, Japanese more than likely. Most of the Japanese stencil stuff I've run across is from the first quarter of the 20thc or so.
