    Hello,

Just bought this picture today- it's a painting not a print, and is on material (silk?). Would greatly appreciate any info people may have- for starters, is it Chinese or Japanese? I was leaning towards the former. Any idea what the characters say, or its age? Judging purely on its framing I'm assuming vintage but not particularly old?

Apologies for the poor photos; the glass is very reflective. Can try to get better pics if it would help!

    Many thanks!

Hello Minna. I think Japanese, and very nice. In Japan the crane is a symbol of longevity and good luck.
Can't see if it is silk though.
