Chinese Porcelain Rice Bowls

    Hi everyone. I have 6 of these little 4" bowls. I was hoping someone might know when they were made, and if there's a name for the translucent pattern. Thanks for any help at all.

    Late Qing to republic.

    There are a few things that suggest late republic and others that suggest earlier republic.


    Backmark - Qing to Republic (1912 to 1949)

    Chrysanthemum - Suggest republic.

    Republic?

    The PRC* refers to (Peoples Republic of China) which began in 1949 and PRC ware is not as nearly as prestigous as Chinese Republic ware to a collector.

    Certain high quality Chinese Republic ware can be quite valuable. This is a fairly good quality rice bowl.
