Featured Christmas mini Calendar 1949 wood and paper w/dogs, etc --Japan??

    Got this at an estate sale yesterday. Kind of an interesting small piece, as there are also Japanese (Chinese??) characters. The "9's" almost have a Deco look.

    Anyone seen similar?
