    Hi,
I have 2 chromolithographs from The Ornamental Arts of Japan, which I think were printed 1882-84, but I'm not sure how to tell if that is correct or were they printed later.
From what I can find, mine have the same information on them as those I'll post links to.
    any information appreciated.
    thanks for looking

If they look like chromolithographs under a loupe, with irregularly shaped and irregulary spaced dots, there's a good chance they're originals from the late 19th century. If they were reproduced after the 1910s, it would be more likely that you'd see either the regular dots seen in photolithographs or no dots at all.

The 1880s was the hay day of chromos, although the process was available earlier and continued to be used through the 1910s.
