Cinnabar or not?? Real or reproduction?

    I got this at a thrift store. I just had to have it. Can anyone give me any insight???
    It’s is a little 11” in diameter, and 2” tall

    Kind of thing that is really hard to tell from a photo. I think I may see the tell-tale sign of resin at the edge about 5 o'clock in your second photo. Certainly not definitive but look this over carefully for bubbles.

    Agreed. Producers made an amalgam with ground cinnabar in it and poured it into a mold. This is nice looking and should display well.
