The cloisonne dragon and phoenix(I think it's a phoenix) seem to be laid over another layer(the red layer) that is dimpled and has bamboo and a flying swallow - gives it a 3D effect. Is there a name for this? Unmarked that I can find. Any ideas how old? I picked it up because I love the colors and the cloisonne work seemed pretty good. I think it's probably on the newer side given the decoration - but what do I know? Japanese? I think? Thanks for any input. About 8" tall.

Aaron
