The Oakland gallery appears to have closed down so I can&#039;t follow up with that lead. The artist doesn&#039;t appear to be American, but I never was good with signatures. All the paintings appear to have been restretched at some point, likely during their time in a gallery. All I have to go on is that the paintings appear to be pre 1940&#039;s, as you can still see the original nail holes, the artist likely isn&#039;t American.
