Columbia Grafonola and Records

My wife's family has had this handed down for four generations. It has been in storage for much of it and no one wants to keep it. We would like to sell it and the record collection.

Sadly, it does not work and some of the indexing storage is broken as well. We think two of three coils' springs shown in a photo are broken. We have several unused needles for it as well.

The records are in great shape with hardly any scratches. Where could I find more info on the value of each record? Would there be a way to repair the coils that rotate the turntable?

 

Please don’t mess with the springs they can literally be lethal! Record prices are on line - try asking Google using the records names ( you can even give a list of names). And verify before selling but it’s a great head start.

 

For the records, you can go to eBay's Completed listings to get an idea of where collector interest lies. Some great cover art but, at a glance, nothing that sticks out as particularly valuable.
