Most of these which I see online (in fact, I think all of them which I've seen online) always have bits missing. Mine is the only one I've ever seen which has everything in it, as it would've done, back in the 1890s :)

The little green packet has a full cache of machine-needles, too :)

Here's the machine that goes with it:

Do I recall correctly that there was a piece missing when you showed this earlier?

Quite correct. I was missing the shuttle-tension screwdriver. Now that I have one, it is officially complete! :)

Is there a user guide with it ? Because I wouldn't begin to know what or how ! That's so cool .

I found the last piece about a week ago at the flea-market. I knew if I searched long enough, it'd pop up. It was one of the easier pieces to find.

I have a reprint of the manual for this machine, but that's about it. I'd love to find an original one (those little green Singer booklets), but no luck, yet.

Oh, I have one of these. It was in my mom's things, so I guess it came with her old Singer that had been electrified.

I have no idea what pieces my box is missing... I'll have to compare your photo to what I have. Thanks for posting it! :)

I paid $100 for mine about 18 months ago. A bit steep, perhaps, but I knew if I didn't buy it then, I'd probably never get another chance to find one. So I just grabbed it! I agree, the price has dropped a fair bit. But I think a complete one WITH the machine, would fetch a pretty penny.

That's the thing about the Web !
Things I thought were one in a million, turn out to be one in a hundred, & items I though I'd never have a chance at finding , just one day show up !
