I bought this in a lot, sure that it was Georgian and possibly even 18th century. It looked right in the listing, but in hand something's off.

Its not silver (tested to be sure), it looks like pot metal that was either plated or just worn down. The metal is 'gritty'. The clasp looks like it was replaced at some point. The stones look right, the design, and the construction seem good, but I've not seen anything Georgian period that wasn't silver backed. Is this perhaps pewter? Or have I been fooled by a 19th or 20th century revival piece?

It looks like a Georgian Revival piece, early 20th century.

Continental pot metal and rhinestone for sure. The blue was a hot color at the time.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like the design. Lovely! And the blue. (Looks blue-green in the photos.)
