I have I think either a cookie, flour or sugar jar. I don't know anything about it except it looks old. The dimensions are 4" diameter top opening, 9 1/2" height and 7" diameter bottom. The color looks to me like a light blue but may look like another color to others. Yes, I know its got chips and broken handles which diminishes any value it had. I hope someone can identify this, the flowers on the front, the material, date and any other useful identification to help my search for it. I thought is was odd that the chip on the top opening is white while the broken handles chips show greenish color underneath the light blue paint. Thank you. Rob

Think the greenish color is someone's attempt to hide the chips.

    Time period 1920s-30s.
The flowers are either cold painted or stenciled on, that is why they are wearing off.

I think the color is more green than blue. Which would fit with the kitchen colors of the 20s.

Seems to be a cookie jar - chips from the kiddies getting snacks :)

    Hi,
Look at R.R.C.P. They have a large number of these types of cookie jars.

I could not find R.R.C.P. on google search. Unless you are referring to the Spanish facebook. What does R.R.C.P. mean? Rob

That is an unusual looking lid. I think it's McCoy #3 milk can, p. 59 Sanford's Guide. No date given.

No problems. Did not find it but a good lead. I have used them before on some white coffee cups where the only thing stamped on them was U.S.A. on the bottom of the coffee cups.

I forgot to say it's pottery, not porcelain, which is translucent.
