Featured Coolest auction lot I've seen this year

I love this thing, just exactly the kinda thing that floats my boat. But I have to leave it alone, not within my toy budget! If it looked like I could get it for $500 I'd be all over it. So for now I'll content myself with saving the free photos of it.

This is for someone who always wanted an Enigma machine but couldn't afford one, those are usually up in the 5-figures these days, or maybe more with a very good provenance.

 

Gila, did you see the sculptures that were the next lots up? Two of them were Catholic saints. One might well be a St Anthony; the auction description said Spanish/Philippino and smart money is on the latter.

Loved them The only one I THINK I recognized was a St. Peter (with rooster, relating to the rooster-crows-3-times thing). They give me a bit of a jumping-off point regarding my St. A.'s general value/worth... not that he's for sale, after all we've been through!
They're in better condition than my Anthony, but... know what? I really think mine's more beautiful.
