Featured Coral ? bangle ebay arrival

hi guys

the bangle turned up and im sort of happy with it

cant decide if its decent or not, maybe somewhere in between, happy for £5

massive 3.5 inch circumference so not a cuff

looks like coral, but perhaps dyed ?

have no idea of origin

any info appreciated (sorry ive contrasted to much) bottom3 pics better indication of colour

I agree, coral, probably natural. That raised central cab is typical for Asian jewellery.
Those two symmetrical bands of filigree are seen a lot on Tibetan and Nepalese jewellery, so my guess for the origin is the Himalayas.
Have the silver tested, I think you're in for a pleasant surprise.

thanks obb, been kind of interesting buying things online instead. havent been to a single boot sale this year for obvious reasons so good to know theres different avenues

 

I've managed a few car boots, and actually felt safer than almost anywhere. They've been so well spaced!

 

Same with our local flea, every other booth and every other row are empty, lots of space

 

at least there's that......

 

Forgot to add, it is not a bangle but a cuff. Bangles are closed.

They are, but it is best to adjust it to your size so you don't have to bend it anymore.
