As everyone here is undoubtedly aware, I know absolutely nothing about costume jewelry! With that said, I am hoping for a bit of info about this bracelet, which belonged to a family member who passed away in the mid-1960's.

I have found no markings on it. It seems to be in good condition, but it is missing 2 tiny stones where indicated in my last photo.

Any input as to possible age, maker, etc is welcome!

I'm guessing this was from the early 50s to maybe 1960. The hardware says 50s to me. It could have been made by 100 companies in the US. The missing stones aren't a big deal; they can be replaced. It's pot metal and they were glued in, so it happens. This wasn't too expensive new although it looked great.

I would date it to the 1950s too, Hollywood glamour!! It's lovely, is it real pearls or faux?

Definitely faux pearls; I can see the paint edge from here.

Mother had almost exactly the same bracelet. Even the clasp and 'diamonds' look the same. Think I sold it about 5 years ago and it went for more than most costume jewelry.

Thank you so much, Anti, Pearls & Patd - and again, Ruth!

I can imagine the lady who owned it back then, wearing it to a special New Year's Eve party, or some such, enjoying the bling of it all!

This is one that I think I may try to sell, as I know no one in my family will ever wear it.

    Thanks again, all.

That style is still around, although I'd agree this one is 60s ish. I've an almost identical one bought new in the early 2000s.

Thanks for the input, Owned. Yes, I noticed that, when I was looking around online for others similar to this one.

I really am such a creature of habit when it comes to my own jewelry (and so unaware of costume jewelry trends) that I always feel out-of-touch when I come across any!
