Featured costume brooch id help

hi folks

found this in a charity shop today for very little, think its got a quite nice look to it

guessing 70s or 80s ?

cant see any makers marks on it

probably a long shot, but any help with possible maker or origin would be a great help

any thoughts or info appreciated

how about this for a turn of events, gotta go to casualty as i think i ve broke my wrist, swelled up bad on that ring hand, so might have to have the ring cut off

unbelievable coincidence, but no joke i can assure you

One way to get the ring off, but not a recommended one.

 

just a sprain thank god, and the ring remains

my nephew (who's a bit special ) only 7 but built like a brick **** house

caught me off guard with a jumping piggy back attempt

i went flying and landed on my wrist that bent right back

i preferred it when he just thought he was a dinosaur

well i've just had a phone call from the hospital, after the xrays were reviewed by someone else, it does seem i have a break which i'm shocked about
first time ive ever broken anything
its my guitar fretting hand which is why i am concerned now.
i nearly put the phone down straight away as i thought it was another nuisance call

 

thus the swelling.............do you need a cast ?

 

yeah i reckon so buddy, as the lady on the phone said what i was given wasn't sufficient, waiting for another ring back

the pain is nothing though, compared to neuralgia i get in my jaw from time to time this is about a 1

 

your body...hand...may still be in shock.......
I hope that call comes soon !
