Crazy midcentury Italian pottery? Style?

    What in the world is going on with this pitcher? Is it 50s/60s? What would you call this style? I found a similar style piece on ebay, but it didn't have any info. I'm totally in love with it yet also slightly horrified. :-D

    It's numbered but no signature, measures 6-7" tall.
