Featured Cushman Hutch??

Hi all,
New here & scored a BEAUTIFUL Cushman hutch for 5 bucks at a yard sale. Any info on this piece? Haven't been able to find a price associated with it or any serial numbers besides the tag in the big drawer. It's absolutely stunning. Any info would be super. I plan to keep it forever!!

What a great piece and you can not beat the price.

That oval brass tag was used by Cushman 1946-64. The traditional colonial design is what dominated their production in the late 50's - early 60's.

This style is has had a range of prices over the years, but I love hearing that you are keeping it forever because this piece will never fail you. It will last 100 years.

What a handsome, functional piece. I LOVE how you have this set up in your home. A real show piece.

P.S. The $5 price is insane. Guessing they just needed to find it a new home. Lucky you!

 

What a fabulous find! While doing some research on Cushman Furniture - I came across your post. I live in the area where Cushman Furniture was manufactured & found this link from the 1965 Cushman Catalog on a local town website. Your piece looks like the Fairfield Collection on page 32?
