Cut crystal vase signed but need help with the signature

    Got this vase a few days and can't find anything on the signature does anyone recognize it?

    Dorothy Thorpe.

    The mark is DTC for Dorothy Thorpe Calif.

    I have a Dorothy Thorpe bowl - took me forever to find the mark. :)

    Got it for .99 at the local thrift store

    Nice vase :) But I would not call this cut crystal though. I am 100% sure the design has been sandblasted / sand etched.

    I believe Thorpe called it sand carved which is just very careful sandblasting but with a fine stream.

    I think that the Vase was made by Duncan Miller.
